I wanted to share a quick hair-care tip that can make a huge difference in the hydration and definition of your curls. It’s called the “Squish to Condish” method and it’s a game-changer for getting the most out of your wash day.
How to "Squish to Condish"
Step 1: Rinse out the shampoo and leave your hair soaking wet—don't squeeze it.

Step 2: Emulsify the conditioner (rub it together in your hands) and rake it through your soaking wet hair.

Step 3: Use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute the conditioner through your hair.

Step 4: Add more water, and keep squishing until your hair feels slimy.

Step 5: Rinse your hair!

This simple technique can help improve hydration, reduce frizz, and define your curls, especially during dry winter months.

By the way, the candle lamp I mentioned in my last Salon Goodness post is a big hit in the salon! And it’s really a great gift idea! If you’re curious or looking for easy holiday inspiration, I added it (and other favorites I actually use) to my Favorite Things. No pressure at all! Check them out if you’re interested.
