It's especially important to arrive with your hair down, (no clips or ponytails) 100% dry, minimal products (if any) and detangled.
‼️If you arrive with your hair in any other condition, I will not be able to perform the service properly and may need to reschedule your appointment. Otherwise, additional cost will be added to extend the appointment time.
Here's why:
no clips or ponytails- because they disturb your curl pattern., think dents and elongated curls.
100% dry- I perform the curly cut service on dry hair. Wet/damp hair will not yield the best result.
detangled- For your comfort and for time's sake, please wash and detangle your hair the same day of your appointment.

You will immediately receive a welcome email that contains all the information you will need for your first appointment. If you'd like to tell me a bit about your hair before your appointment, there is a place to do that in the welcome email.

I prefer to cut curly hair dry first so that we both can see the shape during the haircut. I may sometimes refine the cut after it has been washed and still wet.
Basically, we go over everything from A-Z specifically for your hair and lifestyle. Things like washing & conditioning methods, styling methods, finishing methods, sleep protection and more.
I carry a variety of treatments for things like dryness, breakage, color enhancement, and demineralization for hard water, chlorine, etc. I customize each treatment to give your hair exactly what it needs!
I use Innersense Organic Beauty haircare line. I carry some Innersense stylers in salon for immediate purchase. Or, there is a low minimum for free shipping directly from Innersense to your home. I use Wella and Redken Shades EQ for color services as well as Olaplex.

When you arrive at my salon studio you'll find plenty of parking right in the driveway! To the right you will see a stone path leading you directly to the salon entrance. You can't miss it.
Yes, it is! Available dates will offer time slots you can click on. To easily find my soonest opening click "go to next available appointment." If your preferred date is not available, click "add to waitlist," then proceed to book the next opening that works for you. If your preferred date becomes available I will contact you!
Of course! As my official greeter, Buckley spends plenty of time checking in on us in the studio.
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment directly through the Vagaro app until 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. To cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your visit please contact me via email at Lori@LoriDeckerHair.com. Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled time will be subject to the fees outlined in my salon policies.
If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, I respectfully request 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedules without 24 hours' notice will require a 50% charge for the services booked.
Adjustments to this policy may be necessary due to weather emergencies, power failures, or health.
