  • I'm new, how do I book an appointment with you?
    Choose one of three New Guest Services found on the New Guest Page. Then book your appointment. You will immediately receive a welcome email that contains all the information you will need for your first appointment. If you'd like to tell me a bit about your hair before your appointment, there is a place to do that in the welcome email.
  • Do you cut curly hair?
    Yes, I do! I have curly hair myself and have helped many reshape their curls and redefine their curl routine. Haircut options include popular the Butterfly haircut for curly hair, and Curly shag haircut.
  • Do you cut curly hair wet or dry?
    I prefer to cut curly hair dry first so that we both can see the shape during the haircut. I may sometimes refine the cut after it has been washed and still wet.
  • How should I wear my hair the day of my curly hair appointment?
    For the best results, arrive with your hair down, and fully dry. Style with products as you normally would. If you'd like, bring inspiration pics of others or yourself.
  • What is a personalized treatment?
    I carry a variety of treatments for things like dryness, breakage, color enhancement, and demineralization for hard water, chlorine, etc. I customize each treatment to give your hair exactly what it needs!
  • What products do you use and carry?
    I use Innersense Organic Beauty haircare line. I carry some Innersense stylers in salon for immediate purchase. Or, there is a low minimum for free shipping directly from Innersense to your home. I use Wella and Redken Shades EQ for color services as well as Olaplex.
  • Where are you located?
    Lori Decker Hair is a private at-home salon suite located at 2059 Shearer Rd Lansdale, PA 19446.
  • Where do I park and enter the salon?
    When you arrive at my salon studio you'll find plenty of parking right in the driveway! To the right you will see a stone path leading you directly to the salon entrance. You can't miss it.
  • Is the booking system working?
    Yes, it is! Available dates will offer time slots you can click on. To easily find my soonest opening click "go to next available appointment." If your preferred date is not available, click "add to waitlist," then proceed to book the next opening that works for you. If your preferred date becomes available I will contact you!
  • Will I get to meet your dog Buckley?
    Of course! As my official greeter, Buckley spends plenty of time checking in on us in the studio.
  • How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
    You can reschedule or cancel your appointment directly through the Vagaro app until 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. To cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your visit please contact me via email at Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled time will be subject to the fees outlined in my salon policies.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, I respectfully request 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedules without 24 hours' notice will require a 50% charge for the services booked. Adjustments to this policy may be necessary due to weather emergencies, power failures, or health.
