The Salon Window

The wintery view out the salon window was pretty for a minute, but I’m officially over it. I’m more than ready for spring sunshine, warmer days, and feeding the birds again.

So many twists and turns in His & Hers. Two estranged spouses, one a detective and the other a news reporter, both trying to solve a murder while suspecting each other.

We also finished up the most recent season of Landman and the season finale did not disappoint. If you haven't started this season yet, get on it! Season 3 starts filming this spring.

FAMILY UPDATE

Not That Anyone Asked

Matthew made the Dean’s List his first semester at Millersville, and Megan committed to West Chester University for next year. I’m pretty happy both kids will be close by.

Bill and I are heading to Kentucky in March, right after my Innersense class in Chicago, to finally celebrate my 50th birthday just the two of us. We’ll be exploring Louisville and Lexington, so if you’ve been, send your favorite spots my way. With empty-nester life coming next fall, this trip feels like a little practice run.

And for everyone who always asks about my mom, thank you She’s doing really well. Her cardiologist decided a pacemaker is the next step, and I’ve been reassured it’s a routine procedure that will only help.

Sammy is still falling asleep in the weirdest positions. Yes, she’s sleeping and actually snoring in this pic. Buckley has been extra clingy lately. He even ended up with a highlight on his back last week after sitting under my feet for an entire highlight appointment.
